(DW: Her Final Stand) Soon after, the Doctor managed to cause the TARDIS to crash land in Alba on the 27th July, 1054, and soon he became involved in the English invasion of Scotland and the Battle of Dusinane. During this, the Doctor was taken prisoner by the English army and befriended Chrissie Finch, the Scottish wife of an innkeeper who was also a prisoner.
