Synopsis

One of the noblest and most tormented cosmic entities in the universe, the Silver Surfer treasures freedom above all else, but has often sacrificed his liberty for the greater good. He was born Norrin Radd on the planet Zenn-La, part of an extremely long-lived and technologically advanced humanoid race which had created a worldwide utopia devoid of crime, disease, hunger, poverty, and want of any kind. His father named him after revered scientist Norrin Konn, the man responsible for raising Zenn-La from barbarism to utopia.

Description of Galactus (Galan):

is the sole survivor of the sixth incarnation of the Multiverse. Originally, Galactus was a humanoid named Galan, born on Earth-616's previous incarnation on the planet Taa, a paradise world whose civilization is said to have been the most advanced of any known universe at the time. However, the Infinite Six and all of its universes were in their final stages of collapse due to the multiversal renewal cycle.
