Synopsis

One of the noblest and most tormented cosmic entities in the universe, the Silver Surfer treasures freedom above all else, but has often sacrificed his liberty for the greater good. He was born Norrin Radd on the planet Zenn-La, part of an extremely long-lived and technologically advanced humanoid race which had created a worldwide utopia devoid of crime, disease, hunger, poverty, and want of any kind. His father named him after revered scientist Norrin Konn, the man responsible for raising Zenn-La from barbarism to utopia.

Description of Aron (The Watcher):

Aron was a relatively young member of the Watchers, an alien race of immortal observers of the universe. When Uatu, the Watcher assigned to Earth (and incidentally Aron's uncle), was brought to the Watcher home-world for trial, Aron became intrigued by Uatu's break from the Watcher's traditional code of non-interference.Initially hesitant, the elder Watchers allowed Uatu to mentor Aron while watching Earth. The rebel Watcher Uatu could be a better teacher for a rebel youngster than other, more conservative Watchers. Uatu instructed Aron on the non-interference and the passive observation.
