But rather than dating someone popular like Harry Osborn, Cindy always felt a connection to Peter Parker; she adored his kind heart and responsible nature. As she prepared for her hockey game, her favourite teacher Jessica Drew encouraged her to consider Empire State University and attend an upcoming field trip. Cindy wanted to make her favourite teacher proud and with her boyfriend Peter planning to attend too, she was sure to consider attending. Cindy could see herself in her teacher, just as Jessica saw herself in her protegee. A week later, Cindy and Peter arrived at ESU and were amazed by their programs.
