castingsinmyblood Solution: There were two killers, independent of each other. The first was John Straker; Straker knew that Morton had manipulated her way into the hospital to escape sentencing for a crime and conspired with her to "cure" her as a way to fast track his career. When she bowed out of the deal, Straker tried to poison her with her medicine, replacing her usual meds with blood thinners, which would cause internal complications that would easily kill her or "teach her a lesson". The second killer was John Clay. John hated Andrea and one night had enough, so he went to confront her. Things got heated and due to the blood thinners, Andrea was unable to fight back when John finally lost his temper and pushed her, cracking her head against a table. The blood thinners made sure she lost consciousness and bled out in record time, leaving poor Mr. Clay to think he'd killed someone.
