Synopsis

Koji Kabuto, a young special forces officer in the Earth Defense Army, is bestowed with a godlike robot known as Mazinger Z. Will he use it as a guardian of truth and justice...or succumb to his own demons and have his machine become a devil king?

Description of Maj Tetsuya Tsurugi (Blade):

An experimental fighter pilot, Tetsuya operates the Great Mazinger. An elder stepbrother to Koji and Shiro, he occasionally goes loggerheads with the two, although they come to help each other out in battles as bona fide siblings. As the Kabuto Lab's "Top Gun" robot ace, he's not one to be mess with!
