Sherlock Holmes is brought in to a stagnating investigation of the ‘Jack the Ripper’ murders by Detective Inspector Lestrade. With the aid of his trusted assistant, Dr John Watson, Holmes establishes a link to another set of gruesome discoveries pulled from the Thames.
Officers from Scotland Yard and The East End Divisions are interviewed regarding the initial investigations.
