When Woody came into Luckey Valley, he met the man with the badge called Sheriff Lasseter, who reminded him of his father. A kind, selfless soul who cares about others. He told Woody that he has a heart like no man he ever known. In fact, that’s what would make Woody a better sheriff than Lasseter is, even though he’s already a good one! He told Woody that anyone can be a sheriff. Anyone can wear a badge, get a gun, wear a pair of boots, or a hat. But a true hero is not determined by what he looks like, or what he is able to do. What makes a hero is in his heart.
