After his last adventure with the past, Shadow finally moves onto brand new adventures today. He's learned the existence of Maria's young sister and find the location. Standing in the way is another military force as opposed to G.U.N., They found a detail about Shadow that's never been addresed before. His ability to cure people of uncurable diseases. They take him in and do all kinds of tests, torturing him. But Rouge, Omega, and even G.U.N. break him out, unleashing Shadow's unlimited power. Now, Shadow and his team have to run across big levels, enemy military weapons, and the return of Infinite, to reach the location of Maria's sister, who might have something in it for Shadow's curing ability.
