Description of Bird of the West: The Animated Movie (1986 - Theatrical):

Sheriff Bird rolls into the town, Sesame Gulch. Where the little critters learn their ABC’s and 123’s, and the townsfolk stop for milk and cookies. Until trouble rises in the form of a disgusting baddie known as Rottenous Ross and his gang of rustlers who take away all the education in this gulch so he can set it ablaze with fire and make all the rules here. Sheriff Bird tags along with a group of other muppets like the Great Cookie Thief, the always Forgetful Jones, Marshal Grover, Bert and Ernie, the trash-mouthed prospector Oscar, the gambling local Count, the yodeling Prairie Dawn, and Bird’s noble steed, Sheriff Snuffleupagus, to take back their town and chase the bad guys away.
