Description of Nicolas Colburn (Nick):

A retired captain in the NYPD and the current owner of Nick's CyberShop. Matt's boss and Rebecca's father. Has a tough and commanding presence from his years in law enforcement, but there is a soft spot underneath. Acts as a father figure for Matt Warren, mentoring him about his future. His close, though occasionally overbearing, bond with his daughter results from his wife's death when she was a child, thus he is not enthused when he meets her cocky boyfriend, Bert
