The Skrulls continue to invade Earth, replacing heroes & villains and taking their forms & powers. The remaining heroes have no choice but to make an uneasy alliance with whatever's left of Hydra, AIM, the Brotherhood of Mutants, and Dr. Doom as he knew about the invasion from the start to save the captive heroes and bring an end to the Skrull invasion once and for all.
