Synopsis

50 years after an infamous murder spree in her hometown, Blackwater college freshman Quinn Reynolds is terrorized by a masked killer sporting the same mask as the original killer in her towns past. It all begins with the shocking news of the brutal murders of the schools dean- Marnie Prescott and her husband Henry Prescott. No one is safe in this game, and anyone could be the killer. Quinn along with her friends and enemies alike must attempt to survive while also trying to reveal the identity of the masked killer stalking their campus.

Marnie Presscott serves as the main opening kill of the franchise and movie. She is surprised and terrorized by Ghostface in her office at the university after finding her husband murdered within her own office. The college goes on shutdown after her murder, not allowing anyone to leave during the early stages of the investigation due to the personal and brutal nature of the murders, believing someone in the student body or staff could be behind it.
