Synopsis

Siren Phillips learns that she will turn into a mermaid when she turns 12 years old. To make matters worse, she discovers that her friend's father is part of a group of hunters trying to catch her in which they attracted attention to the police officers and detectives from the 12th Precinct of the New York City Police Department (NYPD) led by Captain Kate Beckett and her husband Richard Castle.

Description of Richard Castle (Rick Castle):

He is a best-selling author who used to sidelines as a volunteer civilian consultant for the 12th Precinct and was briefly a P.I. He is the only son of Martha Rodgers and a man known as Jackson Hunt, and also the father of Alexis Castle. He is the working partner, and subsequently husband, of NYPD Captain Kate Beckett. He serves as her Second-in-command in the investigation into Gary Witts and his mermaid hunting activity.
