Synopsis

Siren Phillips learns that she will turn into a mermaid when she turns 12 years old. To make matters worse, she discovers that her friend's father is part of a group of hunters trying to catch her in which they attracted attention to the police officers and detectives from the 12th Precinct of the New York City Police Department (NYPD) led by Captain Kate Beckett and her husband Richard Castle.

Description of Hayley Shipton:

A very-spirited independent investigator who was a cop from the London Metropolitan Police Service and an insurance company security investigator but she is actually an agent for MI6 British Intelligence and also works for Castle's PI agency with Castle and his daughter, Alexis. She is also involved in the NYPD 12th Precinct's investigation into Gary Witts and his mermaid hunting activity in which she also serves as Castle and Beckett's Third-in-command.
