Fan Casting Marlene Dawson in Saturday Detention

She has worked at Redstone High for years and knows the building's rhythms better than almost anyone. She has witnessed students come and go, staff members change, and disciplinary incidents that administrators would prefer to forget. Her position places her on the margins of school life, but it also allows her to observe people when they believe nobody is watching. She recognizes that the five students are more complicated than their disciplinary records suggest.
