Fan Casting Dr. Curt Connors in Sam Raimi's Second Spider-Man Trilogy

A physicist and Columbia University professor who lost his arm years ago. Connors is one of the few people who knows Peter's secret identity and understands the psychological toll of losing a limb. He serves as a scientific confidant and moral support to Peter. In the final film, Kingsley forcibly reawakens the Lizard within him, forcing Peter to use his old technology to save his friend—a poignant payoff to a character long denied his comic book destiny.
