Mr. Sunshine is The General's right-hand man and the Sons of Samedi's second in command. He is incredibly devoted to The General, who calls him "friend", but he and Veteran Child hate each other. He often carries a machete as his weapon of choice and a sceptre made from a wooden shaft topped with a skull on top and ending in a spike. College students fear him and believe he has other powers beyond his machete.
