Game Starts with Rocket going solo when the Guardians doing others were you fought some bad guys in some space jungle which is also played in the demo version, until robot troops overrun the Benatar, taking Rocket, Groot, and Kraglin captive. They are transported to the Shadow Sector, a lawless region of space on the edge of the Solana Galaxy. Rocket meets Zsike Zoodu, the creator of DreadLock, a barbaric game show in which contestants are forced to kill each other for public entertainment. Rocket is forced to compete in DreadLock,[11] and is fitted with a "DreadLock" collar which will explode if he becomes uncooperative or boring.[12] Collectively referred to as "Team DarkStar", Rocket and his combat bots, Chax and Rokax must fight for their lives while Groot serves as Rocket's "Mission Engineer".
