It stars Andrew Garfield, Ben Affleck, Tom Hiddleston, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Daisy Ridley, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Eckhart And Kyle Chandler. The film tells a story about Guardians Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, The Leprechaun, The Groundhog, Cupid and the Sandman, who enlist Jack Frost to stop the evil Pitch Black and Heat Miser from engulfing the world in darkness in a fight of dreams. The film was released in the United States on November 21, 2012. It grossed $1.026 Billion worldwide against a budget of $145 million. It won the academy award for best picture, best actor for Andrew Garfield And best music from Lorne Balfe. The sequel, Rise Of The Guardians 2 was released on March 26th 2015.
