Based on the movies by Blue Sky Studios, the television series takes place 3 months after the second film, where Blu, Jewel, and the gang return to Rio De Janeiro after they saved the Amazon and their species from the loggers. With the gang back together, they embark on numerous adventures in Rio or across the world to save other species from poachers and extinction.
