"On the Island of Ridge State, a competition famously known as the Ridge Racer competition, where people race for glory and money, is being held on the island and whoever wins the competition will gain a huge prize of 900,000,000,000 dollars and will become the greatest racer known throughout the entire PlayVerse. When four racers join the competition in order to gain a huge amount of money from the prize, they race throughout the many locations of Ridge State while trying to avoid getting in trouble of structural damage because it would mean that the owners of the race would have to pay the damages. However, as the racers race to glory and victory, they get into so much damage and trouble and they start to realize that they can't accomplish the race by themselves and may learn more about what it truly means to be a team."
