Synopsis

Cut to Xandar at the end of Thanos’ invasion. The Black Order has already gained control of the Powerstone, and are debarking the surface, yet the bombing continues. Rhomann Dey manages to get the workdmind as the Xandar begins to crack apart, he is injured in a blast. He struggles to hastily open a stargate/portal. Peter Quills data seems to be on the data panel of his computer for a review of good deeds, or possible crimes? The gate powers up to Terra/C-23/Earth. The gate opens, Dey and Rider make eye contact. Another explosion, the artifact is tossed to a clumsy Richard, who, in shock, is unsure if he is catching it or swatting it away as the portal begins to lose connection and slowly close. He gains control as he stumbles, trips a falls forward into the portal, the artifact/worldmind and all. Portal slams shut. Richard’s friends, brother, and in the distance the punk bullies, all stand bewildered. Dey’s system is destroyed. He glares at Rider, but knows he has to locate his family. The attack is over, The Black Order/Thanos as the take off and take stargates on course to the infinity war. What is left of Xandar’s emergency forces start to build makeshift atmospheric domes around the large pieces of the planet as it breaks apart and are trying to hastily lash them together. Rider, still mentally unloading what is happening, helps the injured Dey through the rubble he explains his new purpose, as they find Dey’s building is ash.

Surfer reports the destruction and rebuilding of Xandar.possible second end credit scene. galactus is not thrilled about his food sources being “wasted”.
