Fan Casting Zauriel in Return to the DC Universe

Once part of the Eagle Host of the Pax Dai, Zauriel would ask for mortality and go to Earth. However, he was chased by Asmodel, the leader of the Bull Host, because he learned he was going to attempt a coup against God. This encounter led him to meet the Justice League, where he would serve with the team with distinction in the coming of Mageddon. Though he is a peaceful being, Zauriel fights with great spirit, using his wings for flight, a sonic cry of great power, and his flaming sword, as well as his abilities as a guardian angel.
