Vicki Vale was a photographer and managing editor at Vue Magazine, which made her a valuable source of information for her occasional romantic partner, Bruce Wayne. Though things didn't work out for her and Bruce, Vicki began to piece together he is Batman as well as learning more about the rest of the Batman Family. In recent years, after her deductions were correct, Vicki has asked Bruce if she could help him and his efforts to protect Gotham City, using her journalistic skills to offer help to the Batman Family any way she can.
