Fan Casting Tom Kalmaku in Return to the DC Universe

A mechanic at Ferris Aircraft, Tom Kalmaku became one of the first people to know Hal Jordan was Green Lantern, often covering for Hal when he was off saving the world. Over time, Tom was chosen by the Guardians of the Universe and the Zamarons to be a new Guardian, having briefly had a metagene capable of bringing out the best in people. In recent years, Tom has become a partner in Ferris Aircraft, even if he still loves to tool around in planes, as well as making time for his wife Tegra and their kids Keith and Kari.
