Fan Casting Time Commander II in Return to the DC Universe

The apprentice to John Starr, the original Time Commander, Sterling Fry learned all he could about time travel and temporal physics from Starr. When his mentor was killed by the Mr. Mind controlled Skeets, Sterling took on his mentor's name and methods, first encountering Rick Tyler's Hourman and his wife by trying to take Rick's tachyon-filled hourglass. Though he failed, he continues to do his work as the Time Commander, to honor his mentor.
