Fan Casting Tharok in Return to the DC Universe

Tharok wasn't always a cyborg. He began as a criminal born on Zadron, a peaceful planet in United Planets space, aiming to wow a criminal syndicate by stealing a nuclear device, which incinerated the left half of his body. The doctors on Zadron repaired Tharok, but his being augmented made him even stronger and smarter than before, eventually forming the Fatal Five with others after the Sun-Eater incident, with Tharok himself being their leader.
