A return to the pre-Flashpoint Earth 0 of the DC Omniverse, showing how it and the multiverse it is tied to have changed thanks to events such as Convergence and the aftermath of Dark Knights Death Metal., exploring how it is a similar, but bold new world and remind fans of the old still standing with the new. Imagined as an animated epic, not live action.

Description of Superman II (Earth-2) (Val-Zod):

One of a handful of Kryptonian survivors in Universe-2 discovered by Superman/Kal-L and Lois Lane in deep space when they left Earth to find them, Val-Zod explained how his father had been friends with Jor-L, and that they knew of Kal's adventures as Superman. Learning of what he could do under a yellow sun when he and the others came to Earth, Val felt he owed a great deal to Kal, which led him, to Kal and Kara/Power Girl's surprise, to take on the shield of the House of L, becoming the new Superman with their blessing, and becoming a member of the Justice Society Infinity, fighting to protect his new home.
