Hailing from the "unremarkable" planet Hatorei, Cobi lived a peaceful life with his brother Andrez, until the day a Starro Motherstar came to their world and conquered it. When Andrez was fueled by the telepathic rage of their people, Cobi ended up killing him, and taking that rage, with a Starro hatchling attaching itself to his chest. Fueled by his new power, Cobi took on the name "Starro the Conqueror" using the other Star Conquerors in bids to conquer the universe. Though he was defeated by Vril Dox's R.E.B.E.L.S., Starro has escaped, biding his time... and taking interest in Earth, and the JLA as he has before...
