Fan Casting Starman III in Return to the DC Universe

Prince Gavyn of Kranaltine, Throneworld of the Crown Imperial, has had an odd life. Following his father's death, his more mature sister Clryssa became queen, leading him by ancient custom to be jettisoned into space. Saved by Mn'Torr, Gavyn learned he possessed the powers of the stars, and with a staff and jeweled bracelets, he became the third Starman, ascending to the throne when his sister was assassinated. At one point, Gavyn became pure energy, merging with Will Payton, the fourth Starman, to grant him his powers, before Gavyn resumed control of their form. Now, he also aids the people of Rann in their part of Throneworld known as New Rann as well as the cosmos.
