Fan Casting Salty in Return to the DC Universe

Once belonging to Janet Reed, a resident of Amnesty Bay in Maine, an incident involving bizarre creatures called the Trench led Salty to lose his owner eventually. Though the Trench were driven back by Aquaman and his family, Salty was now without an owner. Taking in by Arthur and Mera, Salty was jokingly called "Aquadog" by a deputy of the Amnesty Bay Sheriff's Department, and noted he couldn't swim. However, Salty has quickly begun to get his water legs from his time around Arthur, Mera, and the rest of the Aquaman family.
