Fan Casting Professor Emil Hamilton in Return to the DC Universe

A former employee to S.T.A.R. Labs, Emil Hamilton went mad when his inventions were bought by LexCorp. After successful therapy, "Ham" would open a laboratory in Suicide Slum in Metropolis, where he would become a scientific advisor to Superman. Over the years, Ham would suffer another mental breakdown when he was led to believe Superman's powers had an adverse effect on the Sun's lifespan, causing him to become Ruin. However, during the Convergence, Ham began to work at S.T.A.R. Labs as a rehabilitation, and now works there, while aiding the Superman family as much as he can to make up for his sins as Ruin.
