Fan Casting Pied Piper in Return to the DC Universe

Born with a silver spoon in his mouth but stone deaf, Hartley Rathaway's father Osgood had used his fortune to help his son hear again, allowing him to gain a brilliant ear for music. Bored with other pursuits, Hartley became a criminal, calling himself the Pied Piper. Though he was prominent in the Rogues, Hartley would turn over a new leaf, becoming an ally to Wally West's Flash. Tricked by Inertia, Hartley was with the Rogues when they had killed Bart Allen when he was the Flash, and ended up on the run. Now making amends with Wally, Hartley continues to champion gay rights and helping the homeless in Central and Keystone.
