Fan Casting Pete Ross in Return to the DC Universe

Another of Clark Kent's best friends from his days in Smallville, Pete sometimes butted heads with Clark but genuinely cared about him. As he grew older, Pete got into politics, first starting as a Senator for Kansas, then being tapped by Lex Luthor to be his running mate and Vice-President after he won the Presidency. Taking over the Presidency when Luthor was exposed for his crimes, it strained on Pete until he gave up politics. Though he married Lana, they would be divorced, but he now lives back in Smallville, to try to find his path again.
