The younger half brother of Aquaman, born from their mother Atlanna and Orvax Marius, a military expert for Atlantis, Orm was trained from youth in combat to be able to succeed his father for the throne potentially, though Orm would grow to share his father's xenophobia for the surface. When he learned about his older brother, Orm came to be bitter, especially when he was suggested to favor the throne over him. Thus, Orm sought to unify the ocean together as the Ocean Master, using magic and trident to fight his brother.
