Fan Casting Nuclear Man in Return to the DC Universe

As he has tried before with Bizarro, there was an attempt by Lex Luthor to harness the powers of Superman through his DNA in order to make a Superman who would be loyal to him. In the case of Nuclear Man, he was infused with special radiations, which succeeded in stabilizing him with some elements of Kryptonian DNA but making his power set different from Superman's, but making him as powerful as the Man of Steel, even if highly unstable.
