Fan Casting Metamorpho in Return to the DC Universe

An adventurer and soldier of fortune, Rex Mason hoped to be able to find a way to afford a lifestyle to match Sapphire Stagg, the woman he love. While on a job for her father Simon, Rex found the Orb of Ra in the Pyramid of Ahk-Ton, only to be attacked by Stagg's right-hand assistant Java, who loathed Rex. After by the radiation of a meteor, Rex was transformed into a Metamorph, able to access the abilities of all the periodic table. Simplifying his name, Rex became Metamorpho, a prominent member of the Outsiders, and even joining the JLA.
