Fan Casting Merlyn in Return to the DC Universe

A master archer, Malcolm Merlyn was infamous as "Merlyn the Magician", a name Oliver Queen knew of before he became Green Arrow, even being bested by the archer. On top of his skills as an archer, Merlyn is a masterful assassin, seeing assassination as an art, and leading him to meet Ollie as Green Arrow, when he attempted to assassinate Batman, forming a rivalry between the two. Though he lurks in the shadows, Merlyn is no pushover, being among one of the best the League of Assassins has, as well as a thorn in Green Arrow's side when the archers clash.
