Fan Casting Mera in Return to the DC Universe

Hailing from the dimension of Xebel, Mera originally had come from there in order to kill the current king of Atlantis, Aquaman. But what Mera didn't expect was to fall in love with Arthur, and through a loophole found by Garth, the first Aqualad and later Tempest, Mera and Arthur would marry. They also would have a son, Arthur Jr., who tragically lost his life to Black Manta. Even with the tragedy in her life, Mera uses her hydrokinetic abilities to help protect the ocean and the planet with her husband and extended family.
