Fan Casting Maxwell Lord in Return to the DC Universe

Rising to power in the business world, Maxwell Lord, driven by his father's death and his mother's prodding, secretly sought one thing--- control over all superhumans. Which led him to help "unite" the Justice League International, while trying to make them ineffectual. In the course of the Dominators' invasion, he learned he was a powerful metahuman able to manipulate the minds of others. Eventually killed by Wonder Woman, Max would be reborn after the Blackest Night, but now that he knows the Rot used him for their own games, he is out to start a war between humans and metahumans so he can then take over the world, not aware of the WHY he wants this truly.
