Fan Casting Martha Kent in Return to the DC Universe

Clark Kent's adopted mother, Martha Clark had been in love with Jonathan Kent for some time, but when he was listed as MIA in the Vietnam war, she would marry Dan Fordman, one of the richest men in Smallville until he would die. When Jonathan returned home, he and Martha married. Though they couldn't conceive a child, finding Kal-El's rocket was a blessing for the Kents, with Martha being most adamant. With Jonathan, she helped instill the kind of values Clark has today as Superman, and look forward to aiding her grandson Jonathan in his role as Superboy.
