A close childhood friend of Wally West's from Blue Valley, Nebraska, Francine Kane awoke her metagene as a teenager, which began with levitation before she would unintentionally get her father and brother killed in a car crash, with her mother's superstitious nature shunning her. With help from the Teen Titans, Frankie had some help controlling her powers, but eventually, due to outside forces, Frankie developed a split personality, working the line between hero and villain. Recently, she has been helped again in another way, but she still fears using her powers... though she wants to be able to use them and make some good in the world.
