Fan Casting Lionheart in Return to the DC Universe

Originally a dock worker, Richard Plante would be chosen by Lord Elgin Whitestone for a special "project" due to his being a descendant to King Richard I. Given a special armor and the codename "Lionheart", Richard worked with Justice League International to face some of the aliens in the Bloodlines crisis who had cut a swatch across London. Though Whitestone wanted Lionheart to humiliate the League, he saw their courage in the face of danger, and became a stalwart ally, as well as a champion for England, as he rejoins the JLI's ranks.
