Lashina was raised as a warrior in Granny Goodness' Orphanage, and took over leadership of the Female Furies when Big Barda left Apokolips for Earth. A deadly fighter with her energy whips to live up to her name, Lashina has proven deadly in the Female Furies, as well as a time when she was in the Suicide Squad as an amnesiac under the name "Duchess".
