Fan Casting Kathy Sutton-Smith in Return to the DC Universe

A chance encounter is what led Kathy Sutton to meet the Red Tornado when he was seeking employment outside of his work of having joined the JLA after some time with the JSA. Kathy could tell there was something to "John Smith", which led the two to eventually become romantically linked, and marrying, as well as adopting a child, Traya, from Bialya. Though Kathy knows her husband is an android with the spirit of Ulthoon, she sees the human in him and has stood by John's side after they have reconnected after bouts of John doubting his humanity.
