Fan Casting Julia Kapatelis in Return to the DC Universe

A former teacher at Harvard University, Julia Kapatelis (née Deneiros) had been one of the first women Diana met when she came to Man's World to prevent Ares from spreading war. Julia had some connection to the Amazons of Themyscria, having been there once as a child, decades before she would meet her husband David, which is why Hermes chose her to mentor Diana. Along with her daughter Vanessa, Julia has been a stalwart ally to Diana in hard times, as well as a wise mentor and a shoulder to lean on.
