Fan Casting Hourman I in Return to the DC Universe

A brilliant chemist, Rex "Tick-Tock" Tyler was able to create a unique formula, making the pill Miraclo, giving subjects incredible strength and speed for only an hour at a time. Trusting only himself with this, Rex used Miraclo to help a housewife whose husband fell in with the wrong crowd, leading him to become Hourman. He would also be a founder of the Justice Society of America, as well as a hero in his own right. During Zero Hour, Rex was fated to die at the hands of Extant, until he was saved from this fate by Matthew Tyler, the android Hourman. Now semi-retired, Rex is ready to strap on the costume of Hourman when need be.
