Fan Casting Hawkman II in Return to the DC Universe

The son of Paran Katar, the founder of the Wingmen Police of Thanagar, and Naomi Carter, an Earth woman Paran met while on Earth, Katar Hol was part of the Wingmen, until he slipped into drug abuse and was tricked by his superior, Byth Rok, to kill his father. Eventually redeeming himself, he became a goodwill ambassador for Thanagar after their involvement with the failed Dominator invasion of Earth. Eventually, he would be merged with the Halls and be the Avatar of a Hawk God, until his soul was sent to Limbo to save himself. Though his spirit died, Katar Hol soon will find himself among the living again... and following in his predecessor's shoes as part of the Justice Society.
