Once a part of a special unit for the US Marines with his older brother Max, Cole Cash ended up being surprised when he learned about aliens on the planet. Going off on his own after being discharged, Cole began to learn more about the aliens he saw in the Middle East. In time, he would be found by the Daemonites, yet saved from their wrath by Zealot, who took him to Jacob Marlowe. Being hired on by Halo Enterprises, Cole took on his old callsign of "Grifter", aiding the Wildcats with his firearms skills as well as his own brand of smart-ass while being trained by Zealot in Kherubhim combat.
